RYAN SIEGEL

Home: Welcome

ABOUT

Born on Long Island, New York, Ryan Siegel grew up studying classical saxophone technique and participating in numerous honor ensembles including All State Symphonic Band while maintaining a large teaching studio of young saxophonists. By the time he was finished with high school, he had already met and studied with Bob Reynolds, Chris Potter, and Jeff Coffin, all while performing with the Glenn Miller Orchestra and at the famed Club Bonafide in New York City. Upon entering Berklee College of Music on scholarship, he began performing all over Boston with groups such as Havins, The Beantown Jazz Orchestra, and his own quintet. He has performed at Boston venues including Wally's Jazz Cafe and The Middle East. Ryan is the recipient of the Joe Viola Endowed Scholarship at Berklee, and just got off of his first tour with Havins. He continues to perform locally as a sideman and with his own groups.
